A devil in disguise
(the moron song)Text & Music: Sibylle Machat, 2000 / 2002
Notes: capo to third fret. Country song!Sibylle says: This song is very loosely based on Arthur C. Clarke's book "Childhood's End" as well as on a song about the book by Mercedes Lackey. I discussed this book in Uni, and much as I like her song, man, as a literature student I must say she doesn't even scratch the surface.
Love the book though, and wanted to write a song about it.
Ended up challenging myself to write an even more blue-eyed (I am the moron helper of the evil guy) song than the ones I knew. This is the result. Sounds serious, but I usual laugh myself to bits playing it. Ooops.____ ____ ___ ___ __ __ __ _ _ _ __ __ __ ___ ___ ____ ____
